North Central Railway Notified Recruitment for 49 Various Posts 2013
Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railways invited applications for filling up 49 Group-C posts under sports quota (open advertisement) in NCR Head quarter and 4 Divisions of NCR. Eligible interested sports persons should send their applications in the prescribed format till 22 July 2013.

Sports achievements obtained on or after 01 April 2011 shall only be considered for appointment.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2013): Between 18 years and 25 years
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be considered for appointment on the basis of their performance in trials, and assessment of their sports achievements and general intelligence/ personality etc.
Candidates found fit after Trials will only be considered for next stage of recruitment process.
Final selection would depend on selected Sportspersons fulfilling the minimum medical norms for the post, for which he is being appointed.
The recruitment process will be finalized by the respective divisions / workshops / units.
Those posted as Clerk or Sr. Clerk should pass the requisite type writing test within the prescribed period from the date of their appointment.
Probation period: Appointed candidates will be on probation for two years.
Examination Fee: Non-refundable Fee has to paid either in the form of Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order.
Grade Pay and Associated Fees to be paid:
(a) For posts with Grade Pay Rs.2400 and Rs.2800: Rs.60
(b) For posts with Grade Pay Rs.1800, Rs.1900 and Rs.2000: Rs.40
SC / ST / female / Minority (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zorastrians [Parsis]) / and candidates belonging to Economically Backward Classes (family income less than Rs.50000 per annum) are exempted from payment of fees.

How to Apply: Eligible interested sports persons should send their applications, in the prescribed ,format along with copies of relevant enclosures to the concerned address mentioned above so as to reach their on or before the prescribed last date. Candidates can also drop the applications in the box kept in the concerned office premises on or before the prescribed last Date.
Envelope containing the application should be super-scribed“Application against Sports Quota 2013-2014 for Category No. _______”.
Candidate should clearly indicate specific sports discipline, event & position (Full Back / Half / Forward / 48 Kg. / 53 Kg./ Wicket keeper/ All rounder etc.), as mentioned in the notification, in the application form.
NOTE:
Candidates should submit only one application at a particular address.
Applications of candidate submitting more than one application at a particular address for the same game will be rejected.
Candidates applying for more than one Game / Event shall submit separate applications for each Game / Event with separate IPOs / DDs.
